Disk Throughput View
Function:
To display the disk throughput graph.
Description:
This view presents a graph of disk throughput in bytes per second, for each disk drive. Disk throughput is an indication of the amount of work each disk drive is handling. However, file system fragmentation can significantly lower the disk throughput. Then, the
Disk Balance View
will show the disk as being heavily loaded, while the disk throughput will be comparatively lower. These comparisons should only be made among equivalent speed disk drives.
The graph will automatically rescale to accommodate the maximum throughput value achieved for any disk drive.
