Function:
To display process statistics sub-totalled by group.
Description:
This collection of views sub-totals the process information by group ID, enabling you to determine resource usage on a per-group basis.
Views under the
By
Group
sub-menu provide statistics for CPU, Memory, I/O and Total Resource usage.
It is good practice to assign different logical groupings within the user base to different group IDs. This allows a more secure computing environment and also allows SCO Doctor to profile resource usage on a group by group basis. For example, the administration department could be profiled against production.
