The Big Directory Alert

Function:
To determine when a directory is too big.
Description:
This alert is triggered whenever a directory has more files than specified by the threshold. This alert should only be run after hours as scanning all the file systems imposes a significant load on the system. When a directory has more than 254 entries, the directory must be stored in multiple disk blocks which consequently take longer to search.
