Document Conventions

The following conventions are used throughout this document:


ALL CAPITALS
Specifies an actual keyboard key, for example: ENTER represents the Enter key on the left hand side of the keyboard.

bold
Indicates SCO Doctor programs, SCO Doctor menu options and standard operating system commands.

italics
Indicates a specialized module, term or component used by SCO Doctor.

+
A plus sign between key names identifies two keys which need to be held down simultaneously, that is, depress the first key and continue to hold it down while you depress the second key. For example: ALT+F.

F10
Represents one of the twelve function keys. These function keys provide quick one-step access to some SCO Doctor functions.

courier
Text in courier font represents the command which must be entered by the user.

\
Indicates that the text for a code example or command should be entered on a single line, even though the example is broken over two lines to fit the margins of the document.
